This place is so tasty. I have came once for happy hour where we got drinks and oysters. The last time we came was on New Year's Eve. We were sat down right away and staff was super friendly and very accommodating. We ordered a few things off of the menu and everything came out at a pretty good time especially since they were very busy next time I come I would love to sit upstairs to check out the view of college Street. We sat downstairs and could hear a jazz band playing, which was really nice. One of the best dishes we got was the ribeye and fries. It was super juicy and very flavorful. The Woodfire pizza was very tasty and the oysters were also big and flavorful. If you're in the area, you should definitely stop by and have a little dinner at this place.

I can't wait to come back here. The pizza and french toast were phenomenal! Solid brunch spot in Rockridge that takes reservations. They have upstairs and downstairs seating. We were deciding between here and Kitchen Story down the street, and I'm so glad we chose this spot - not as crowded or loud.

Service was on-point: host was immediately welcoming, servers worked together tending to guests and tables, and management checked in timely. Spacious dining room (upstairs). Trendy decor. Menu has a lot of variety. Branzino was perfect. Ordered it with crispy skin and the kitchen knocked it out of the park. The squash was a perfect little accompaniment. The butternut squash soup was good, not as sweet as most I've had which I enjoy since it was topped with a za'atar spice and whole macadamia nuts. The chocolate demise cake (which is flourless) was dense and perfectly rich. Touched with a luxardo cherry and flakey salt... I wanted more than one slice . My only critique is that the cake was too cold making it somewhat brittle and defiantly not ideal to eat with a spoon. I think I'd order it when I sit down, let it come closer to an ambient temp by the time I'm done with dinner, so that it's a bit softer and creamier. Big thanks to Roy and the rest of the team! I will return soon, and then again, and again.

Ambiance 4/5 Food 3.5/5 Service 3-3.5/5 Came here for an anniversary meal; the table was ready early and handicap accessible as requested. We ordered an array of sides and two main dishes. I really liked the beet & apple salad and the focaccia with Aleppo spiced butter; the brussel sprouts were a bit greasy without much flavor. For our main dishes we ordered the shrimp scampi (would not recommend) which came with a generous portion of shrimp but did not taste garlicky despite having chopped garlic in it. We also got the lamb merguez pizza, which was deliciously spicy with muhamarra and chili peppers. Service was prompt, but not super attentive. Overall, I would recommend to try the middle eastern inspired fusion dishes as those were the highlights.

Came here on a Sunday evening for a quick cocktail and ended up staying for a few snacks. Staff and Service: - The bar upstairs is open seating, so we went up there to fine - There are two floors of seating - The ambiance was casual, but could also be good for a date night - Our server was the bartender and she was fantastic. She made the drinks very well Food and Drinks: - Oysters: ordered a half dozen oysters, which were good. They were a little on the smaller side, but that's not a negative - Acre chickpea hummus: I would come back for this appetizer alone. This is probably the best hummus I've ever had. It was smooth, seasoned to perfection, and came with fresh vegetables and fresh baked and warm pita bread. We practically licked the dish clean - Dirty martini: when we ask for a dirty martini anywhere, we usually get a regular martini. The bartender was great and made the martini dirty! - Margarita: this was refreshing, delicious, and citrusy Miscellaneous: - Parking is available via metered street parking (free after 6pm and on Sundays) - Good for dates, groups, families, etc. - Happy hour is everyday from 4pm - 6pm

With the rare freedom of a babysitter (thanks Oma!) my husband and I decided to go out for a pre-dinner drink. Acre's upstairs bar hit the spot. They do happy hour every day and if you're feeling peckish, get the hummus. Now you might be thinking, "Hummus? Boring!" But you'd be wrong. This is tastier than average homemade hummus with fresh vegetables and pizza-like bread. Though it was rainy the day we came in, there was still plenty of light in the space. My Mommenpop spritz was perfect and my husband enjoyed his Babylonia (old forester rye, st. george rye gin, cardamom, pink peppercorn, lime, saffron) and remarked upon it fondly. We will be back!
